Schools in Madhya Pradesh will open on February 1. It has been decided to conduct classes from Class-I to Class-12 with 50% attendance. Residential schools and hostels will also be able to open with 50% attendance.

In fact, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had said two days ago that the decision to open schools will be taken after consultation with medical experts. There were different statements from the ministers on this. Earlier in the day, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang said that the decision to open schools will be taken after consultation with experts.

Sources say that corona cases in Madhya Pradesh have been decreasing continuously for some time now. In such a situation, it has been decided to open the school. In November, the government had decided to run the school with 100% attendance. After this, when the corona cases started increasing in January, the government took a step back. It was decided to close all schools from January 15 to 31.

The exam will be on time.

State School Education Minister Indersinh Parmar has released the video saying that the exams will be held on time. He welcomed the chief minister's decision to open schools. He also said that if schools are appearing, parents are urged to send the children to school. Children also go to school regularly. Our effort is to conduct the exams as per the pre-determined schedule.
